I am terribly late to this, but I hope that this blog could become the testament of my prepaaration for this exam. I will not be mentioning what this exam is until i finish it. (i think she is trying to be mysterious, oh well).
Anyway, anyone else who is preparing for this test, i hope my journey helps and aids your journey as well. I wish all of us the best of luck. Let us keep fighting.
So for this preparation, i will be needing to read 2 news articles every single day, from these websites :
- The Economist
- The Financial Times
- The Guardian
- The Independent
- The Irish Times
- The New York Times
- The Scotsman
- The Sydney Morning Herald
- The Daily Telegraph
- The Times
- The Washington Post
and i should be asking and answering questions such as :
- Think about the issues being raised;
- What assumptions are being made?
- What information is being relied on to draw which conclusion?
- How would you frame a counterargument?
– courtesy of the prep website.
So for a while my blog posts will entail me analysing, understanding and sharing opinions on news articles i read. You might wonder how does this even connect to law, but understanding the world around us will definitely aid us in legal studies. I was the student who never really paid attention to that, but i regret not keeping up as much. Nevertheless, here i am, hoping to compensate.
If you have any comments, suggestions and idea, feel free to share it with me <3, I would love to hear what you sweet people think :))
So, without further ado, here we go.
